Some Gideon Moments

I just had to share some cute things Gideon has been doing. Last night he was obsessed about getting in the wood box right next to the woodstove. He kept climbing in there and just sitting. He is so funny. Then the other day he threw all his bath toys in the empty bath tub and then jumped in himself and just played in there...that's why I always make sure I drain the water immediately! Then he has started to talk on the phone which is adorable. Also I wanted to share a picture of the beautiful bedframe that Joshua has made for our room! He made it out of cherry wood, it still needs a layer of polyurethane but I LOVE it!

My Brother Graduated and Bethie is Engaged!

Friday was quite the special day, my brother graduated as a fire fighter looking very spiffy in his dress blues. And my little sister got engaged to an amazing man! We were able to go to Zach's graduation and see him get pinned and of course then we got to see Bethie and Brandon and her beautiful ring!

Family Blogs

I've been meaning to share my family's blogs with everyone for a while and just haven't gotten around to it.
My husband has started a blog that looks into the foundations and principles of the Church. He has a real heart for teaching these principles found in scripture and sharing them with others. He wants to encourage young people to study the Word of God for themselves and find out what it really says rather than what they've just grown up assuming. So his blog is called Inspecting Foundations and he updates it about once a month.

My family now has a blog that really just keeps all of us married ones updated with things that go on at home...or to share pictures or videos of things that we do as a family. It's called Fosters of Amelia.

And of course my lovely sister Beth Nell who is the photographer of the family has a wonderful site where she shares her photos. So I have to brag on her and tell everyone to check out her site and if you need a photographer she is worth looking into! Her's is called Elizabeth's Photography.

Those are my family's blogs...check them out!

A Pregnancy Update

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I have safely reached 35 weeks and baby is still waiting to meet everyone! I am on limited bedrest this week till I reach 36 weeks on Thursday but at least I am now able to get up and do some things! I was able to go to Church yesterday for the first time which was wonderful! Joshua starts school this week but I have my sister Lydia hanging out with me and helping me. My sister Beth took some maternity pictures of me yesterday...she's wonderful!

Two Blissful Years

Celebrating on Bedrest

So yesterday was our second anniversary...it still feels like we are on our honeymoon we are even more in love than when we married! I wasn't sure how great we would be able to celebrate due to my being on bedrest and very pregnant but we just worked around those little details and had a delightful anniversary. We thought about shipping off our little munchkin to his grandparents but you know what we enjoyed having him here and he was no trouble and we still had a nice day. We were given an amazing gift from my sister-in-law and brother--a fully stocked picnic hamper so we took last night as an opportunity to use it. We were planning orignially to go out to Applebees but since I couldn't go out we ordered out and Joshua went and picked it up...and we set up a romantic picnic on the living room floor! Then we played our new Ticket to Ride game a couple times--it was lots of fun, even though Joshua won both times! :-)
The other pictures are from Gideon being taken for a ride on his little car today with his Daddy...he is so cute!
