We have friends of ours that are getting married in May and I had the privilege of helping throw a wedding shower at our chapel for them. I had seen the idea for these adorable little cookies I wanted to make very badly for the shower but didn't think I could pull them off myself. So I got my wonderful sister Beth to help me and our mutual friend Bethany. Now the originals I saw were perfect and had fondant icing but being limited to time and money I just made sugar cookies and used chocolate and vanilla icing. I think they turned out cute! I wish we had put a tie on the grooms but cute anyway!

Changing Out Clothes
So I'm working on changing out my children's clothes from winter to summer and of course also keeping in mind that they have to be in the right sizes...people have been so generous recently and given me lots of clothes, so I thought this would be a good time to just work on going through ALL the clothes! I have a "sell/giveaway" pile, put away in drawers pile and pack up in boxes pile. I am almost done but this is what it started out looking like:
And this is what it is starting to look like:

What do you other mamas out there do with all your excessive amounts of clothes? I feel like I'm always going through them and my kids just keep growing. I have a pile for Once Upon a Child...then I'll try selling them at my yard sale or craigslist or giving them away. I am totally in the cleaning out mood! Spring cleaning has a hold of me!

Bundles of Cuteness!
Just a few random pictures from this past week of my two little adorable children. Doesn't it just make you want to scoop them up and squeeze them and smother them in kisses. Sometimes I just have to because I can't stand it! We are so blessed!

Girl's Day Out
So a few weeks ago Tirzah, Aunt Bethie and I went to a nearby town to meet my Mom and two of my sisters...we had a nice day window shopping and having afternoon Victorian tea! Nothing like a real tea house! We sure did keep them busy going through the pots of tea...it was so much fun!

I should have known it was too quiet...
I was finishing my lunch and Gideon and Tirzah had wondered into the laundry room, it got very quiet and when I went to investigate this is what I found...they had discovered my flour container with the lid not snapped on. I had to take a picture before doing anything else because it was just so funny! Good thing I needed to clean that room anyway!

Burt and Ernie
Joshua's Dad has a couple toys from when he was a little boy including this Burt and Ernie puppets. Gideon absolutely loves them! Whenever he goes over to visit he asks to play with Burt and Ernie...When we got snowed in Gideon carried Ernie around everywhere...feeding him...showing him the snow...so cute!
