i really hope i win this cause i could use this for my best friend's christmas gift. i want to make a photo book of our story and how we became best friends. i personally think complex is better cause its so much fun to see new ideas and choose many more fun things to put on cards. just what i think. so my answers: 1) photobook and 2) complex
ReplyDeleteLOVE the photos! As for shutterfly.... I love complex! While simple does have its place in the world and can be helpful in some occasions, with a family Christmas card, I say the more photos the better! The addition of different, fun fonts make for a good personalized touch. And let's face it, who doesn't like receiving a card that looks and feels like time and effort was spent and made to make their card perfectly personal? :) And although it was hard to choose just one card front their site, I think I would have to go with "merriest season". I love the layout, the personal addition of the last name initial, and the cute saying on the front! I believe it would brighten up any mail box it should find itself in and make merry those who receive!
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at Shutterfly's website, I think I really like the more traditional cards the mosst because I think it makes the photo stand out more! Along those lines, I think I would choose a simple card over something more complex!
ReplyDeleteI like the tri-fold and you could never have too many pictures for me! However, if you go simple, I like the last one with the 4 pictures. I love you!
ReplyDeleteWow! Tri-fold is greeeeaaattt! Yup never too many pics. Could be a little hard to magnet to the fridge, but oh well. Cute family photos. :) For this year, I love the Shutterfly "Tree Monogram" card. It goes with the photos I'm using and has a quality, modern look. I've already ordered 20 through "freebies" but boy would it be glorious to finish out my order at Shutterfly instead of 10 here and there and everywhere! Thanks for offering this giveaway Steph! Fingers crossed. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the Simple Elegance card design.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think that simple is better.

I just love it all! Makes me sad that it all wasn't available 25 years ago .... Maybe I would have done something with family photos back then!
ReplyDeleteI like Dazzling Border. I like simple and complex. Complex maybe for more intimate family and friends. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI like the Bright Happy Bubbles New Year's Card. To me simple is better.
ReplyDeleteI like the love and cheer card and I think complex is nice since you can include more :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Wishes Dreams Love card!

I love so many of Shutterfly's cards. I really like "Wishing Warmth" if I have to pick one.
ReplyDeleteI think simple is better.
I love the love and cheer card!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of the tri-fold cards. I do not think it would be too much unless you picked a glitzy design AND uploaded really busy pictures. I have to say, I LOVE all the monogrammed cards. But my favorite designs are the Magic and Wonder, Merriest Monogram Memories, or Blessed Wishes Christmas Card (I can't decide).
ReplyDeleteI love the Every Day Gift card, I like monogrammed simple cards and that one fits me to a t! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the Our Gift Christmas Card. I see you're considering it also!
ReplyDeleteLove Simple Elegance
ReplyDeletePainted Frame is nice
ReplyDeleteI love the Our Gift Christmas Card...there are so many great ones though! I sometimes like simple, sometimes not.....depends on my current mood! ;P
ReplyDeleteI like the card with the four pictures. It fits on the fridge easily and has several pictures to look out.
ReplyDeleteI believe that should be "look at." I should have screened Michelle's comment before posting it.
DeleteI like the Beyond Measure Religious Christmas Card... I like more of the simple ones
ReplyDeleteI like the cheerful bubbles card for us
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is a photo card with "Merry Christmas" written in script across it. It's called "Elegantly Scripted" and there's room for a photo and some text on the back. I think you should go with the trifold! :)
ReplyDeleteVisited the site and my favorite design is the Preppy Snowflakes Christmas Card

I definitely love a simple card! My favorite is Triangle Tress!

Well..tonight I like "Framed in Snowflakes," but I am sure that tomorrow I will like another...since there are SO many great ones to pick from!! Hard to make up your mind, isn't it??! Thanks for letting me enter! Valerie B ;-)

thanks for the giveaway
My favorite is the Happiest Holiday card. Also I think simple is much better as it's a lot less stress! LOL Thanks for the giveaway! msmissy02 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI like the preppy snowflakes card. It's nice having a collage on one side and one big pic on the other. I'd say not too plain but not too crowded either.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of favorites so it's hard to choose, but the Shadowed Snowflakes Religious Christmas Card jumped out at me. I'm always torn between simple and complex. I really like the tri-fold card! Michelle is thinking about doing that for her family. Oh, and I think it's really funny that one of your examples says The Bradshaw Family! Haha! I've never seen our name on a sample card before. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is "Merry Little Tree." I like the simpleness of this one, but I also really like the holiday cards that fold out and where you can do little "year-in-review" summaries. So I don't know if I like simple or complex better! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win a Shutterfly credit! I use them frequently for my prints, photo books, and our yearly calendar. I prefer simple over complex because I like to be able to display each family's card on our fridge door throughout the year. :) The more complex ones don't stay on as well. :) If I were to win and choose a card, I would probably spend way too much time choosing one, but for now I will say I would go with the "Vintage Vision" style. :)
