It is with joy and thankfulness to the Lord that we announce the birth of Caleb Lee Shelor! He was born safely and healthily at 6:02 Pm on Tuesday, August 5th, one day before his due date. He was a whopping 10 pounds 1 ounce and is 22 inches long. It is our prayer that he will be "whole hearted" for the Lord as his name means!

Woodworking this Summer: the Master Craftsman
This summer Joshua has spent a lot of time making furniture for our room. In fact we now only have one piece of furniture--a dresser that he didn't make in our room. He hopes to make an armoire to replace it...but this summer he has made us matching night stands...a corner table for our computer and office supplies...and his last is so amazing--an archery rack!

He also has made our bed frame, my cedar chest and a book shelf...the room is so pretty!!!

Gideon the Fisherman
Gideon got to go fishing last week at camp as Joshua was teaching fishing to the boys. Gideon had the best fishing rod because on the first day he caught 9 fish! Then he wound up catching 33 in all during the week...now these were small fish but really, what a little fisher man!!!
2014 Cow Day
Since I don't have a small device to take pics to put on instagram, here are our family pictures from cow day. We had wonderful Aunt Miriam with us that day!!! It's rather difficult to get three children to stay in spots long enough to get free food but it was fun! Chick-fil-A was very generous and we appreciate them...Tirzah was a fancy cow in her pink dress...that girl!!!

Two Little Girls and a Mess
This past weekend our family had friends over for a sleepover...we had 7 children five and under, it was quite fun. At one point with four adults around there was still a brief few minutes that Charlotte and Chloe were not being watched and look at what they did in those few minutes:
It was hard to be upset at them looking so cute and messy...
But it did take forever to clean up...

Time to Predict Baby #4's Arrival
As most everyone knows we are quickly approaching the arrival of baby number four! It is a boy we found out and so there will be no predicting gender but as we have done in the past I love to have baby's arrival predicted (http://joshuaandstephanie.blogspot.com/2012/07/predict-our-babys-arrival.html). I am 32 weeks right now and baby is doing just fine and measuring right on time. My due date is August 6th. In the past Gideon was born at 35 weeks. Tirzah was born at 38 weeks and Chloe was born at 36 weeks. All perfectly healthy, just early. So feel free to predict: date of arrival, time of arrival and birth weight...I'll try to do another prize this time after baby comes. My wonderful sister took some great pictures of me last week to document how big I'm getting! My favorite is the first with Joshua and I...he is such a great husband and dad!!! Join in our excitement as baby boy is coming soon!

Yard Sale at end of April
So last weekend I was supposed to be hitting the free Church yard sales to look just for some things for our family but due to being out late the night before I had to skip the free sales (note, I do not resell things I find at a free sale)! Instead I prepared for a Norwex party I was giving later in the day and on our way to the party we just happened to pass a Church yard sale that had been pretty good the year before so we stopped. I was not disappointed. I found a train table with wooden tracks and a Cars activity rug for $10! I was able to sell the table and rug for $25...then I gave the tracks to someone...I also found some shoes for $.25 a pair and some baskets for my Norwex parties for $.50. Also some really nice snow boots for $1 a piece. It was quite the success...

Yard Sale almost Bombing...
So I totally picked bad yard sale on Saturday...I wanted to go to a different side of town but we decided to go in a direction towards a kite festival so I picked ones around there. So out of the three we stopped at I got nothing...then on the way home Joshua followed yard sale signs on his own--he's such a good man!--and then we stumbled upon a great yard sale! They had all sorts of outside toys for $5 a piece...sadly our van could barely get the three I bought as there just isn't enough space with our three little ones. But we squished those in and made do...I paid $12 for all 3 and have already sold 2 for $30, the other is the bouncy/jump horse that retails for $125 on amazon...hope to make a bit on that...everything needed to be cleaned up--buy my enviro cloths made that easy!!!

Beautiful Children in Spring
Thanks to Mimi my children looked so cute on Sunday. My Mom made the girls dresses, purses and hats. They loved their outfits and my Mom has some amazing skill. Gideon looked very sharp in his little suit. I really wanted to post all of the pictures I took but thought you might get bored looking at that many pictures. For now here are some of the best.
