Fall Decorations and a Swap

I have loved the coming of fall this year...beautiful change in colors, crisp mornings and a couple nights ago we got to start our woodstove up!

I participated in a fall swap this month and this is the box I put together! Doesn't it look deliciously like fall?

My Friendship Box Arrived

I got my Fall Friendship box in the mail yesterday!!! Do you want to see what was inside? Of course you do!!! Below are the cute decorations and fall items...the cookie cutters and cupcake wrappers make me want to bake!!! And I happened to be decluttering and cleaning my living room yesterday so when the box arrived I was able to decorate my piano with fall things, I love the way it looks! So thank you Angela for the lovely box of fall! I found out that Angela is related to a friend of mine so that was fun!

Fall Friendship Swap

So I don't know if you remember last year but I participated in an event called the Fall Friendship Swap...it was so much fun and is happening again this year and I urge you to participate. It is where you get paired up with a person and you both prepare a box of fall decorations, goodies, scents, etc to send to one another! It makes you eager to start decorating yourself and to get in the fall mood and you get to share your creative crafts or food with someone else.

Fall Table Runner

Being inspired to decorate my house with a little bit of fall I made a table runner out of "fallish" fabrics.  I found a tutorial at this site and had so much fun making one for my friendship swap and one for our own table. Now with Kym's decorations she sent me my table looks very fallish!!!

Fall Friendship Box!

I got my fall friendship box in the mail today! I was so excited. Kristen from Vignettes hosted this swap and I really enjoyed participating. It made me do some fall crafts and decorations myself which was fun! Kym was my swap partner and I got this beautiful box in the mail! Doesn't it just look fallish? It had lots of yummy treats inside and cute little notes to accompany it.  Below are pictures of the items in the box. Thanks Kym for all your hard work and everything is delightful! The kids enjoyed the rubber ducky in the bath tonight!!!
