Boxes and Surprises

So I got a big box this past week...
I found you!!!
That Gideon has really enjoyed playing in...
Peek a Boo!
I have enjoyed playing games with him but I like what came in the box more...
Just so much fun to play in boxes
Gideon shows you that no piece of what we call trash should be wasted...
Even the styrofoam is fun to play in
I have gotten a new sewing machine that can do basic embroidery! The tragedy is they forgot to put the foot pedal in the box so I can't use it yet...so here it sits while I look at it longingly...
This is what came in the box...
Meanwhile I plug away with my Kenmore and work on bridesmaid dresses in between reading Go Dog Go, changing diapers, fixing meals...and my dress is done and I am halfway through another one...

She's almost 7 months!

Wearing her new skirt from Auntie Beth (the one that is supposed to be like 2T but must be a mini skirt for that age.)
Look who likes Gideon's big car? She loves to sit in there all buckled up...

I first only let her play on it when Gideon was sleeping but now he likes to push her in it--he's learning to share!
Sitting up all by herself

Loving to play with her toys!

Big Trucks

Our community has an annual event called Touch a Truck where kids can touch and climb all over big trucks and boy did Gideon have a blast with his Daddy! He was such a happy boy "driving" those trucks! It's his favorite word--"truck"!

Aletheia Springs Picnic

Our family got to host the Aletheia Springs annual picnic this year at our Happy Hollow. We had a nice turn out and had lots of fun eating, playing Ultimate Frisbee, Cornhole and talking! Joshua and I made our cormhole game--he made the boards and I made the VA Tech bean bags! It was fun.

The group that sat around and talked

Gabe climbing our big magnolia tree
Sundance and Sierra playing in the pool
Guess who was helping in the kitchen?
