Shutterfly Cards/Gifts: $50 Giveaway!!!

So my wonderful sister Beth just took our family pictures!!!! Yay!!! Here is a sneak peak...but it makes me want to out together some sort of Christmas/end of year card to send out to everyone!!!

Okay isn't this tri-fold card amazing???I totally want to do this one...but is it too much for people? I mean it is like a mini photo album...book...should I go for something more simple?

Choices, choices...and you'll have to make your own choices as well! I also like to finish up my year by making a photo book to review my year...I've done one for each year that we've been married, almost five years! Amazing! I also like to make my Dad a calendar for the following year as he loves picture calendars!

3-2-1 Year Old (Toddler) Photo Shoot

My wonderful sister Beth took some pictures for me a couple weeks before Gideon turned four! I wanted to memoralize the fact that I had three children three and under. So I made some really simple numbers out of felt and sewed them on some shirts. The photo shoot was terribly hard as the kids did not want to cooperate--except Tirzah. So we did the best we could and Beth got some great shots! I love these children the Lord has blessed with me!

Memorial Day Cook Out

Sunday before Memorial Day my Dad came out with several of my siblings and we had a cook out...it was a lot of fun. They even helped me garden a bit before dinner.

My children have started really loving to sing. Tirzah loves to sing about "Jesus" and tries to sing Jesus Loves Me. Gideon has even created his own song called "Jesus makes us Beerdufool" and Chloe loves to sing along with everyone in her baby voice.So on Monday they had the chance to play some instruments Joshua's mom has from when he was a boy...

Shelor Brothers and the 2012 Girls

Joshua's youngest brother Daniel, his wife Alaina and baby April has been in town for a brief visit and it has been nice for our children to all play and catch up. Below are the three brothers and their three daughters all born last year! Aren't they all beautiful?

Joshua and Gideon got to help Daniel make an amazing table from a tree that the boys cut down last week. Look at that wood isn't it beautiful?? I think he has some leftover to make another one...the Shelor guys love to work with their hands...

Three Little Munchkins

Spring Fling

At Joshua's school they have a spring party called spring fling. They have free food and yummy ice cream made nearby at Homestead Creamery! Joshua's mom came with me to help with the kids and we met Joshua for lunch! My sister Beth and Isaiah came as well. We walked around seeing what students are up to and met Joshua's fellow teachers and students.

Aunt Ruthie Comes to Visit

I had my youngest sister Ruthann out for a visit last week and boy did Gideon and Tirzah have a fun time with her. She kept them occupied for hours!

One day we went to the river to feed ducks which wound up being geese. I picked up a camp friend of Ruthann's that goes to our chapel. They loved being able to throw rocks in the water and watch the geese.

When we first moved into Happy Hollow I thought this underbrush by the creek would be the perfect place for children to play! It would seem I was right, they set up a table and play food and played for hours!

Gideon "fishing" off the bridge with a fishing rod that Ruthann made for him. They didn't have a hook or bait so they tied an onion on the end...so cute!
